Hi, my name is Christine Muñoz, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate supervised by Amy Andra, LPC-S,   

Registered Play Therapist - Supervisor TM. I have worked in education for the past thirteen years as a Special Education Teacher, Behavioral Interventionist, and now as a School Counselor.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University and my Master’s degree in Counseling and Development from Lamar University. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, and individuals who are neurodivergent or have special needs. My approach is eclectic and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I often incorporate Child-Centered Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

I work with clients experiencing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, family relationships, and the many bumps we encounter along the way. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel understood, empowered, and encouraged to grow into the best version of themselves. I believe in walking alongside clients as they move through the river of life.

Outside of counseling, family is at the heart of my life. I am blessed with a wonderful husband, two amazing children (ages 5 and 9), and two dogs who keep us on our toes. In my spare time, I love being outdoors, spending time at the barn, crafting, traveling, playing board games, and enjoying time with loved ones.
