Services

Counseling with equines provides a safe space in which to build healthy relational patterns through experiences with both horses and humans.  Licensed therapists and certified equine specialists work together with clients and the herd  to meet clinical goals designed to assist each client with their own individual work.  We offer counseling with equines to children, adults and adolescents.

Our group of therapists is focused on serving the needs of both individuals and families  based on their own unique needs.  Our behavior, health and social emotional condition are all influenced by the experiences that we have had over the span of our lives.  We appreciate the need to consider relationships with others as an integral part of the therapy process. 

Children express themselves through the language of play.  Play therapy offers a child the space to express through their play and process challenging life experiences within the parameters of their own level of development.  Play therapists work together with parents to provide a space for children to tap into their own innate ability to heal.

 EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of therapy that allows people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences.  Repeated studies show that by using EMDR therapy people can experience the benefits of psychotherapy that once took years to make a difference.  Using trauma processing methods that assist the brain's own information processing system to work through blocks or imbalances that may be impeding the natural healing process, EMDR therapy activates that process leading to diminished symptomology connected to adverse life events.
