Amy Andra

Amy is a mental health therapist focused on serving children and adolescents. Amy graduated from the University of North Texas in 2012 with a master’s degree in Counseling. Amy consistently seeks to grow professionally through education and development activities that help her to best serve those affected by traumatic experiences and adverse life events. Amy follows theory and practice that focuses on trusting our innate ability to heal. Trained in counseling with animals, counseling with equines, and trauma focused methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) and Somatic informed methods, Amy believes that the partnering of strong clinical skills with the human/animal connection to be a powerful agent of self-discovery and change.
Amy is available for clinical supervision for clinicians pursuing their Registered Play Therapist credential and Licensed Professional Counseling Associates needing clinical supervision. Amy is also available to assist clinicians in the practice of equine counseling through consultation and supervision.
